Re: decent garages
Why not service it yourself? Keep receipts in a book. I'd rather buy a car thats been looked after and maintained by an enthusiast with all the receipts to show rather than a stamp in a book. I had my old vw lupo serviced at a garage and they didn't even change the oil!!!
If you do it yourself you know it's been done.

They are by no means jap specialists, But i use Autorite in Willenhall.
The guys in the car shop there are alright, they have never pissed me around, they can stamp your book, and dont charge main dealer prices. Ive taken all sorts of problems and issues that ive fudged up myself and they have fixed everything. They also fitted the coils to my Jazz.
They are primarily a recovery company, but do service work too.
